Aftercare

FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS BELOW AFTER PROCEDURE.

We provide an aftercare kit to all of our clients. It will have a round small facial ice pack and a lip balm healing treatment.

Immediately after use the ice pack giving and ice for 15 minutes on and 15 off for the next few hours.  Icing will help prevent swelling.

Apply the lip balm treatment that is provided 2-3 times daily. It is arnica infused and will help with any swelling. It keeps the lips moist but not overly during the healing process.

MASK WEARING- this is  NEW but a BIG one!  Masks are DIRTY, especially the reusable ones. If clients need to wear a mask, please use a clean disposable each time, and wear minimally. Lips need air to heal.

Healing Process & What to Expect

Right after the procedure lips normally feel dry, chapped, tight and tender to the touch. Similar to how a sunburn feels.

The lips will may be swollen and slightly larger than normal and can look as though you may have had a lip filler injection. The degree of this varies from person to person. . The size of your lips will shrink back to normal within a couple of days.

Initially, the color will be super vibrant, like a bold lipstick.  It is important not to be misled by the immediate ‘after’ results.

The color will fade up to 30-50% within the first 4 days. Color will fade on the inside first, then on the edges as they will peal and chap for the 3-5 days.

The completely healed results will have a softer and lighter appearance.

Avoid hot and hight colored foods/drinks for 5 days.
